Novasprint gets approval to list in Singapore

SINGAPORE (AFX-ASIA) - Novasprint Pte Ltd, a provider of e-business solutions for urban planning, building and construction industries, said it has obtained in-principle approval to list on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange.

Vickers Ballas & Co is the manager and placement agent for the issue.

novaSPRINT/Itochu Corp in jv to set up applications service provider

SINGAPORE (AFX-ASIA) - novaSPRINT Pte Ltd said it has entered into a joint-venture deal with Itochu Corp Ltd to set up an applications service provider for small and medium enterprises throughout the Asia Pacific region.

In a statement, the company said the joint-venture, novaMYOHQ.com Pte Ltd, will provide a web-based suite of office and business applications for SMEs under the brand name MYOHQ.com.

novaSPRINT will own a 60 pct stake in the joint-venture while Itochu Corp will hold the remaining stake via itself and unit, Itochu Asia Pte Ltd.

Itucho Corp also owns a 2.43 pct stake in novaSPRINT.

To jumpstart the business, novaMYOHQ.com has acquired the business and assets of 2cliq.com Pte Ltd, which operates a communications platform for SMEs and business communities to interact and network online.

Singapore awards two contracts worth 6.6 mln sgd to novaSPRINT

SINGAPORE (AFX-ASIA) - The Building and Construction Authority of Singapore has awarded two contracts worth a total of 6.6 mln sgd to novaSPRINT Pte Ltd.

novaSPRINT is seeking a listing on the Singapore Exchange main board.

In a statement, the authority said the first contract, worth 3.89 mln sgd is to build an integrated checking system for building plans and building services.

The second contract, worth 2.66 mln sgd is to build a one-stop submission centre which will facilitate electronic submissions, processing and approval of building project documents via the internet.
