Sometimes single digit PE still expensive because:
- sudden surge of profit during the year of listing and the future not sure - illiquid market with a lot of single digit stocks to pick - unattractive business with low growth prospect of mature industry - marketing efforts to sell shares, pump up, further placements - a real bargain (very surprise to find one, if any) - may be some more reasons to fill in.......
I don't see much attractive new counter listed recently. Small investor better study and invest in good companies. IPO market always only serve the big and rich guys to cash in and bully small fishs. Small investors always try big luck to apply for small number of shares and take higher risks within their means...... Anyway still enjoy gambling with small money and earn or loss coffee money. Just to take part and test my own's luck. Let's gamble before the official lauch of Singapore Casino! |

Not attractive to me. Only bet is the small float, low $ value, timing. Overall IPO market still sluggy and cannot match those in last year. Bo..ring. Hope can still catch up before/after new year. Just my personal feel to share. |

UOB Asia's IPO are alwaz underperform compare w the rest .....very shameful for such a big brokerage firm......time for them 2 show
& correct the perception starting by showing to the rest want they can do....at least at the IPO price of 21 or else nobody will want 2 buy their placement shares in the future. |
