Hongboa, honestly I don't know, they sold , they announced, they damaged the sentiments - a lot of people kena blueblack. - some kena caught with pants down not able to hold, sold down . For those who can hold become stuckist. Any signs of any upwards movements were met with profit taking - this in turn frther damage sentiments.
all the other asian bourses are green today - STI kena shot down. What will tomorrow be like? |

STI (Daily) - Up to this stage there is still no sign to suggest that this is a top formation. In other words, I expect the uptrend to continue.
I am maintaining my view that the 1,800 resistance of the STI will be challenged and broken after the current consolidation, say within the next three months.

If one cannot take the volatility in the market, then one should not be in the market. You have to take a medium term view (3 to 6 months) and always watch the valuation. The daily ups and downs are mostly driven by trading activities respoiding to news flow and events minute by minute. For investors, it is best to ignore these and stay focused. Otherwise, there is no end to cutting losses (like those who cut loss on semblog at below 1.70 recently). |

Only a strong tree can withstand strong wind. Make sure you are sheltering under a strong tree when the typhoon comes. And only if you buy a strong FA stock with attractive valuation can you withstand market turmoil. You may take a short term hit but in the end, you will always end up unscathed.
