It really feels good to make a good call, especially when almost everyone is against the opinion.
Singapore market is too small.... If you have good ideas about how the US market, you will have an advantage to play the small Asian markets, esp Singapore. Be warned. Still some way to go. At 1700, when the drop is taking a rest, take the opportunity to unload. Listen! |

Beside shortist ,these mad selling are those who got no holding power .
We're just into 1st qtr of economic recovery & growth after a record 3 yr slump with >80% economist agreeing recovery is real and thus there should be quite a bit more to go for S'pore over next 3-6mths . STI at 1700 is only 40% rebound from bottom 1230 . While we cannot predict weekly / short term madness , almost all historical recoveries from such long mkt decline will be at least 75%-130% rebound in next 12-18mths fr. thier rock bottom . To early to worry abt STI over-valued. We may have 20-40pts. downward but for those with holding power , the upside is 200-400pts. Basically barring unforseen , the upside in next 6-12mths would be 10x the downside risk in simple term. Try fishing the bottom and most likely one may missed everything altogether... Unless leverage to the hilt ,why go mad selling at this point ? |

Fundamental, you are absolutely rite. I am enjoying myself seeing the market fall sharply. My portfolio is insulated due to high % of Singtel and Singtel is still very strong. In fact, market appreciates Singtel more when there is a big lau sai. |

Buying today and plan for the worse mkt go down another 3-5%. and keep holding. But if rebound it will be 5%-40% in next 3-6 mths. Risk vs reward is simple here. I tried catching Singtel last week at 1.74 but missed.. |

Those who get burnt deserved it. Despite knowing these stocks' financial reports and yet supported them just because the market say so. It is no surprise that they will execute more cash calls to suck money from the market. |
